How do I limit the amount of items that are displayed in a chart view?

For example, I have a column [Customers]. In this column all of my customers are listed. I have Grade A customers (who make up the bulk of sales) and Grade B customers (who make minimal orders). I want to be able to show a chart of just the Grade A customers, but for some reason I can’t figure out how to split them up so that only Grade A shows up in the chart. Right now the chart has every customer listed. Any suggestions?
