How to add tips to entries in UX?

Hover tips? we don’t really do that as it isn’t a meaningful pattern on mobile devices. You can provide a Description for each column. In a form, this is shown along with the column Display name. It is the recommended way to provide extra information with a form input.

The column description would be the way to do it. Another way to do it is via Show columns (these can include richer information include a url, an image, a video even)
