How to create an enum list using a virtual column

How do I create an enum or enum list using a virtual column? I am not sure of what is the right expression to input in the default app formula. Thanks.

Virtual columns are read only columns and computed columns. You may not have an enum or enumlist directly created out of a virtual column. You may wish to read the following article on the virtual columns.
