How to have my favicon appear on my shortcut?

I am wondering if this is possible - then if so, how do i do this. I show my favicon on my tabs. But when i goto make a shortcut (using Chrome) to my computer desktop - I do not get my favicon with it.

@Tiger are you on a Mac or PC?

Shortcuts should include the favicon from your app icon, but it might vary depending on your OS.
