How to rename the app referenced in the url

I renamed the google sheet my App is based on and redirected every table to the new Google sheet. That is all working.

But, AppSheet is still displaying the old name in the URL
https://www.appsheet.com/Template/AppDef?appName=JF_zzzzzz1296677&quickStart=False#UX.Views

how do I change JF_zzzzzz1296677 to use the new name?

As far as I know, that name is permanent–it cannot be changed. The best you could do is copy the app to a new name, but then it’s a different app users would have to install.

It’s not deployed so that won’t be a problem.

I tried it with a sample app and it worked. I’ll try it with my real app and report back.
