How to speed up connection to appsheet servers from South Africa

Hello everyone,
Is it normal that it takes between 1,5 to 2 minutes after I press save in the app builder before any sinking start to happen? I suspect it could have something to do with me working from South Africa.
Any advice how I can speed this up?

Hi Hyman,

The Seacom international fibre link off the eastern coast of South Africa has been damaged and is currently under repair. It is expected to be sorted out in a week or two. This has caused international speeds to be affected and it the probable reason/cause for your delay. Depends on who your ISP is though as others not affected.
