I am having trouble with some individual addresses not geocoding.

When I check them in Google Maps they appear to be a correct address and show on the map.

However, for some reason they do not appear in the appsheet Maps view.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

Could you provide a sample address that is failing to geocode? Sometimes, addresses are just something like “1 Privet Drive” (without city and country), instead of “1 Privet Drive, Hogarts, England”. Google Maps uses some guesses to fill in the city and country, whereas your app will need that.

The addresses are now displaying as they should although nothing changed within the spreadsheet or app.

Is there a way to flag addresses that do not geocode and display on the map?

Ben, if you had a lot of addresses, they take some time to geocode but they eventually do. And once they do, they are cached for subsequent use across all users.

So maybe that is what you observed.
