I am using the copy this row and edit the copy action to clone a record. After the new record is saved I want to automatically delete the original record. I assume the best way would be to use a grouped action but I can’t figure out how to delete the original after running the copy.

And if the copy is run first in the group and the user cancels would the second action, that deletes the original, still run? That would not be good. I would only want to run the delete it the copy was saed Any thoughts would be appreciated.

No. Once the copy is made, that’s that… The best you could do is have an on save action that doubles back to delete that record… But why even delete it. Find a way to mark it, and remove it with the security filter. Good luck

@Lynn I need to change the key column. My understanding was that you can not edit the key column so I copy the row then assign the new key column but want to delete the old one. I think I may have a workaround. I’ll post if it works.
