I know multi-page form views can be constructed, but I don’t believe multi-page detail views can – am I correct? Thank you.

How about if you think your sections as slices and then call them with action buttons in your detail view. You could use a deep link LINKTOROW(…). That could do that job.

@Aleksi_Alkio Thanks for the suggestion. I’m actually planning on something which is quite similar-using kind of an app launcher process that launches separate slices/views with just the columns I want. If I’m not able to do that I will do what you suggest.
