If you copy the sample app to your account then you can edit it and use it as your own.

If you wish to see and mass delete any of the old data you can find the spreadsheet by going to Data > Tables > View source . You may also click on any of the rows in the app and use the Add + icon to add data or the pencil icon to edit the row or the Trash can icon to delete rows.
If you need to add or delete columns select Data> tables >columns to see the columns.
