I’d like a field user be able to capture a document using a mobile device SCANNER (like google’s SCAN feature with Drive) and NOT the device camera, which yields a poor quality scan, doesn’t have the great Crop and other built-in image improvement capabilities…

can this be done with AppSheet?

There isn’t any built in functionality for that kind of hardware, but I’m guessing you can use the scanner and save the resulting image on the device’s camera roll?

If so you can just pick that image in appsheet just as you would any other existing photo.
