Is it possible to do a search from a form? Example: A form view that presents 3 fields (eg Type, Brand and model) and when clicking on accept that presents all the records that meet the selected criteria?

For some of my app, I m placing kinda of “advance search”, using Usersettings.
For instance, we have a table with multiple column. I let the app user to set the usersetting like a advanced filtering, and use usersetting value to slice the table.
It is working well.
