Is it possible to use OCR Text in detail view?

Has anyone been able to use the OCRText() expression with a detail view or is it only possible in form view?

Could you please elaborate your requirement?

I believe in general it could be done with either of the following two approaches.

If you set the image column as “Quick Edit” column in detail view, then I believe as soon as you take the snap, the OCR converted text is available in the text column with OCRTEXT() expression.

If the image preexists in the record, then in detail view, one may have an inline action configured to set the text column with OCRTEXT([Image Column]) expression. The user will need to tap the inline action though.
