Is there a limit to how many times me, and my staff, can sync and edit an google sheet trough my app?

Limit per minute? second? day?

Thanks a lot Jorge

No. Not to my knowledge.

Basically you can set a ChangeCounter and use it as an Editable_if criteria. Can’t limit sync but can limit the edits with that @Jorge_Santos

Thanks Levent.

I have no problem with how many times the users sync.

I was worried that google had some kind of limit… That was my problem…

@Jorge_Santos the only quota that Google has with the sheet is; - Max. 200 sheet tabs in a spreadsheet - Max. 2M cells (not rows) in total in a spreadsheet file

This 2M cells are counted as text values and blank values. If your spreadsheet cells include complex sheet formulas, than the quota drastically decreases. Therefore I suggest, you remove all the unwanted columns and rows from your base gSheet. You can delete the empty rows till the last datarow, as AppSheet always appends new rows to the table when adding a new record from the app.

In this app it we will never reach that kind of information volume…

Cheers!

EDIT: it appears that there is really no rate-limit here. (maybe Google didnt tell it either… :-D)

see this post:

There is a rate-limit but you wont be able to reach it, so nothing to worry about
