Is there any plan to enable Actions to be processed on multiple rows that are displayed from by Search?

We keep coming across situations where that would be incredibly useful. However, at present the only way to get the same functionality is to build a View that has the same ‘filter results’ and the ‘search results’

Adding better search functionality is on the roadmap.

I don’t think this is about better search functionality per se. Even with the search we have, once we are down to a few searched items, it should be possible to multiselect them and execute an action. I suspect the problem is that the search bar is getting in the way of the action select bar?

Yes Praveen, its not a search thing. And yes, the problem is really that the search bar gets in the way of being able to select Actions.

So sounds like it should be possible, just need a design solution

would be awesome to have as people can then filter and update in bulk, as you can in a spreadsheet.

@Sarah_Gould_AppSheet – I think the ask here is to have the action multiselect “checkbox” available even when there is a search applied to the view.
