It would appear that I may not be able to use AppSheet’s built-in system color theme ‘Dark-Orange’, which is a perfect fit for my planned branding scheme. The reason? The platform automatically formats email and telephone links to the typical blue that’s universally used for such links, which becomes very hard to read in the dark background absent perfect ambient light and necessary straining of the eyes. Even then it’s hard to distinguish between certain characters like the ‘5’ and ‘6’.
I’ve tried formatting rules based on for example, ISNOTBLANK() evaluation of fields in order to change font color to no effect. Is there a way around this problem? I’d like to stick with the color scheme but absent a solution I’d have to switch as this particular theme and almost half of the others available - all of the ‘Dark + [color]’ options that use the same dark background - are functionally useless to me.
