I've been trying to tick the HIDDEN attribute...

I’ve been trying to tick the HIDDEN attribute for a column but when I save or save & verify the tick disappears. Any suggestions why this might be?

The TYPE is number, the other boxes ticked are KEY and REQUIRED and I can’t seen anything else unusual.

I had the same problem earlier and got round it by making a new sheet from scratch with the same data and hid the Key column straight away which was working but I don’t know what I did to make it want to appear all the time again.

I think it’s because I didn’t have a UniqueID() formula to set an initial value for a key field.

If you don’t have anything in the initial value… like formula for example, you can’t hide it because then you are not able to enter the key value. That’s why it doesn’t let you hide it.
