I’ve got a problem with the drawing fuction.

When I take a picture on an iPad and annotate on it it works fine.

When I do the same on an android phone, the picture is saved really small.

Do you have a solution for this?

What are picture sizes as pixels?

(Adrian Enz) #3

It’s not that the quality goes down, the whole image is smaller.

Image sizes are?

Ah sorry, didn’t get the question.

The small (from the phone) pictures are 228x171 px.

The bigger (from the iPad) are 521x390 px.

Pictures that have no annotation are much bigger. 1600x2134 px for example.

The 521x390 is enough for us. (But still strange that it goes down that much)

I tested with the Android (Samsung S8+) and the image size was 716x403px. maybe the reason is your Android device.

What is the device, model and OS?

I tried it with a Samsung S8 and a Samsung XCover4 (I think) Everything should be on the most recent android version.

It’s definitely something specific to that device or device type.

We have other Samsung devices on Oreo and we don’t see that behavior.

It’s one of the challenges of Android that common code can behave due to manufacturer software customizations.

Can you try playing with the camera settings, or try changing the default camera app?
