LINKTOVIEW() does not support passing of values, though now that we have Quick Edit fields, it maybe should.
Try LINKTOFORM() if you want to pass values to a new row.
Not a new row. Edit existing row.
Though you can update columns with actions. Are you able to open your case with more details?
You may want to look into using an action, as @Aleksi mentioned. The action- Data: set some values of columns in this row, can be used on the current row.
If you want to pass values from one row to another existing row, you can combine that action with Data: perform an action on a set of rows.
There’s no way to directly pass values from one row to another without linking multiple actions, but there is a feature request for it here if you’d like to vote for it.
If you have some kind of relationship between these two tables so you can find that record and only that one, yes it’s possible as @GreenFlux described.
Thank you. Yes it is possible to find that record, because the id is useremail.
1: Data: perform an action on a set of rows is possible and I get this record of table 2
2: Data: set some values of columns in this row is not possible to get the value of table 1
Please tell how to do.
Please check this trick that @tsuji_koichi wrote…
Thank you very much. That helps.
