Location not editable in launched app but it is in app editor - initial value formula

Hey guys,
I have an initial value for a location column from another location column. In the app editor preview it works fine and the initial location is loaded and I can change the location. But in the launched version of the undeployed app it is not editable. It does load the correct location though, you can just not edit it. In the images attached image 3 demonstrate the detailed view where it shows location and image 4 demonstrate the edit view where you cannot edit. image 1 shows in app editor and 2 the initial value formual.
Any advice how to fix this? The column is set to be editable.
