Mailto: stops in my browsers addressline

I have a deeplink to start an email. This works fine on my mobile, but stops in the browser address line at my PC:

Is this a bug or can I do something to prevent the action from halting.

@Steve - when I select the action to send and email, everything works fine on my mobile. I get an option to select mail client and after selection the client is opened with the right fields from the action.
On my PC on the contrary, no client is opened.

I would think this means your browser isn’t configured to handle mailto URLs, but that’s just a guess.
