Making Google App Script force call UPDATE to Appsheet app using API

Hi! I would like to learn on how to use Google app script using API to influence the behavior of Appsheet. I have experience in coding using some languages but not JavaScript. Is there a site/tutorial where I can learn this easily? More importantly, is there a sample code to which I can study?
