MySQL - Support for Client Certificates now available for GCP Cloud SQL MySQL - GA

Hi AppSheet Community,

I’m pleased to announce that we have added the capability to configure client certificates for your MySQL data sources. This enables a stronger, end to end verified SSL connection from AppSheet to your MySQL DB instance, which is often required for company security policies. The Using data from MySQL documentation page has been updated with instructions for how to use this new feature.

Are there plans to give similar client certificate support to MariaDB?

Hi @Kambwili ,

We don’t have current plans to add this for MariaDB. Please add it as a Feature Request and encourage your friends to upvote it and we will monitor for demand there.
