I am developing a dashboard based on filters. Each user gets a row in the filter table so that each user can save their own customized filters. So there’s a table dashboard_filters, and a row per user. Security filter in the table makes sure that only the current user’s row is loaded, and the filters get shown in a ‘detail’ view within the dashboard.
Sometimes when I click on a filtered view however, the detail view that shows me the filters navigates away from the only record in the table and goes blank - irrecoverably so if I’ve disabled the slideshow mode in the detail view. I have to keep the slideshow mode enabled so that a user could then claw back to the actual filter page.
