New Bug Encountered:issue with email report : not sent anymore

Hi all

I am currently in the process of building an email report : it has been working for a while, and suddenly not working anymore.
When it stopped working, I was building the email body (I am pretty sure I did not change any of other settings).

Here are the settings :

Table Name : Employes
Create report : For each row in table
Bypass Security filters : OFF
Condition :
OR( IN([Barcode Employe],ListingMvtsJour[UtilisateurResponsableActuel]),
IN([Barcode Employe],ListingMvtsJour[UtilisateurResponsableInitial]))

and in the โ€œDO THISโ€ section :
To : [Mail]

This column [Mail] is part of the table โ€œEmployeโ€, and is a column containing exclusively email adresses or blank cells.
โ€œListingMvtsJourโ€โ€™ is a slice, and the โ€œView Dataโ€ displays only one row, which is what I expect at the moment.

The Workflow report says the email was sent (green binocular), to one user : which is what I expect, one email should be sent to me.

Have you checked that your email box is not full or is it possible that your inbox is rejecting noreply@appsheet.com?

Thanks for your answer.

  1. The email Box should not be full, I only have 350 mails in the inbox (this is a new mailbox)
  2. About rejecting, :
  • I have been looking at the spam : nothing
  • Mail settings : nothing seems to be blocked

I am currently trying a very simple setting for sending email :
Table name : EMployes
create report : for entire table

condition : nothing
to : dev@lfsols.ch (my address)
email body : โ€œTESTโ€ (without quote)

The log displays successfull operation, but nothing comes into my mailbox

How big is your table? How many rows?

โ€œEmployesโ€ has 7 columns and 43 rows.
But the sheets goes till 1000 rows

Is your app deployed?

What happens if you press โ€œTestโ€ or have you tested in this way already?

I read about this โ€œTestโ€ button, but I donโ€™t see it.
Can you tell me where to find it?

I just understood wich โ€œtestโ€ you are talking about.

I tested on Condition and on email address :
Everything seems to be OK ?

Sorryโ€ฆ I mean โ€œRunโ€, not โ€œTestโ€.

OK. So yes, this is the way I try every time since I work on it.
And when I assume Iโ€™m supposed to get an email, I donโ€™t get anything.

What is your account ID number and app name if I check your app?

And the email address is typed correctly?

Yes Iโ€™m sure about my email address. I checked more than twice in case, it should be OK

OK, here are informations :
app name : Outillages_v1b-1009434
account ID number : 1021166

Please test thisโ€ฆ add aleksi@appsheet.com into TO field and then run it again so we can be sure that the reason is somehow not your email address.

I just entered your address, saved app, and ran the report.
Did you received anything ?

Result : Success, and your address is in โ€œEmailToโ€ field

Log is fine.

Let me test this with a test appโ€ฆ

It seems that there is something wrong with the report service. I will ask our Workflow expert for debugging.

Iโ€™ve been trying to run again the mail, but nothing seems to happen.
At first I sent it to your email address by mistake, but then I replaced the โ€œToโ€ field with my address, and this is when I realized that still does not work.
So that was yesterday, 12 hours ago.
And I just tried again in case, nothing more.

Maybe you received something yesterday ? Let me know
(Iโ€™ll be busy today, Iโ€™ll probably see your answer tomorrow, same time)

Good to know you received something.
Iโ€™m still meeting issues with that.

  • I tried with my own personal address : amoyen31@gmail.com, it was successful too.
  • I tried with dev@lfsols.ch, was a fail (even if log is successful)
  • I tried to send a mail to two addresses, at typing: dev@lfsols.ch,amoyen31@gmail.com: this time, nothing comes into my personal address.
  • BUT if I type โ€œamoyen31@gmail.com,dev@lfsols.chโ€ (without quotes) this time I get something, in my personal address only.

I looking to the Log, it seems that:
-only the first address seems to be kept :

  • address dev@lfsols.ch goes to successful operation, even if nothing goes in the inmail box

I checked again if there was any spam or blocked email or email list, but settings are empty on the dev@lfsols.ch.
And the most astonishing to me, is that it used to received every mail while I was working on the email body

Do you have any idea of why this does not provide any mail on this address ?

When adding more than one email address, add them in a seprate line in your To field. For me it sounds that your inbox (dev@lfsols.ch) is either full or itโ€™s rejecting noreply@appsheet.com.

Thank for the tip.
I think as well my mailbox is rejecting this address, because in the same G-suite domain, my first user can receive his mails, soโ€ฆmine must be in trouble.
Anyway, this doesnโ€™t matter while the โ€œnormalโ€ users still can get their mails : this is necessary for further developments.
