When I enable “Show overlay actions in dashboards”, some of the Ref-Actions will become Plus-Buttons instead of the “New”-Text-Buttons.
This seems to happen only when it’s a Deck View or a Gallery View.

Fabian, thanks for the report and bringing it to my attention in support. 
This is a relatively new feature I added and this is indeed a bug. I’ve coded a change to not show the overlay buttons for Deck & Gallery views inside a view inside a dashboard so it should no longer cover the “New” button. Expect to see the fix released later this week.
