New Symbols vs. data in table view

I am seeing a new symbol instead of the data I expect in table view (which is based directly on the table). How do I revert to the default functionality where the field Division is displayed in table view?

Division is an Enum/Ref field with Show turned on. It only works in table view if I change it to a Ref field vs. Enum (with base type of Ref).

Locate the system-generated action attached to that column and set its Prominence to Do not display.

Columns that have a inline actions associated with them are only displayed as their button icon when viewing a table view to explain Steves solution.
