OCR for Barcode Reader

Good morning/afternoon all,

I was wondering if you are looking at the possibility of using the Barcode Scanning feature to implement OCR, my app involves entering vehicle registration details so it would be an extremely useful feature.

I believe Scandit already offers this facility so could be a pretty simple one to add?
