Other attachment to workflow

I’m struggling with attaching a file to an email workflow.

I’m using a formula to define the file I want to sent. I have a column called documents, which has the link to the document attached to the record I’m sending. The formula I’m using is simply [documents].

When I look in the log I have a blank result:
“EmailOtherAttachments”: “”,

The document links fine in the body of the email (copied below). What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help.

I can investigate if you provide:

  1. Your account id
  2. The app name
  3. The workflow rule name
  4. The exact date and time of the failure in Audit History
