Phone Call

Hi everyone,
I am developing an application and I have a phone field here, what I would like to know is if it is possible to make a call from my phone, or send a message to the number of the person in question. I am from Portugal, I don’t know if this type of “service” is available in my country.

Yes you can. It is dependent on the service available within your phone plan. The app simply accesses the phone calling and texting capabilities. So, if you can do it from your phone then you can do it from within the app.

If you are trying to call or text from a desktop or laptop, the app will try to make use of calling or text software on that device.

There is also the concept of WiFi calling that some phones can use. I am not as familiar with that feature or if AppSheet can use it at all nor do I know what services/software are required to use it.
