Populate child with parent value

Hi,
how can I pre-populate a “part of” child table with some value from the parent table?

Child Table: Need the TM Number and the Branch to come from the parent.

Parent; I like the TM Number and Branch to come from here on save-form mode.

So far i have 2 actions:
one is to set some values from parent

other one is to call the other action:
