Hi AppSheet Community!
As shared in previous announcements, your Community will have a new home beginning next week. This post will explain details about what to expect with the transition and how to get started on the new site once itโs live.
Timing
The new AppSheet Community site will be live on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 by 12PM PT.
There will be a brief migration period on January 24th (beginning at 5PM PT) when the legacy site (community.appsheet.com) will be read-only. Beginning on January 25th, when you go to the legacy site link, you will be automatically redirected to the new site.
Logging in
You will log in to the new Community site using the same email address associated with your existing AppSheet Community account credentials (the same you use today at community.appsheet.com).
From there, you will be directed through the process to claim your migrated account and verify your email address.
Please note that when you first log in, you may receive a series of notifications regarding badges youโve earned, which are awarded to you based on previous community activity (e.g. authored posts, likes received, etc.). Youโll have the opportunity to continue earning badges based on your activity on the new Community site.
If you already have a Google Cloud Community account, but the email associated with that account is different from your existing AppSheet Community account, then you will need to contact the Community team at gc-customer-community@google.com for assistance.
