Price format does not automatically display decimals

I have a datatype of price on my fuel field and thought for sure when a user inputs a price it automatically display the cents.

For example: When I input 52, it would automatically display it as $52.00 or if input 1532 it would display $15.32.

I turned on Accounting Format to adjust but no luck

Any ideas?
