Printing to pos printer locally

Hi All,

I am new to Appsheet. I am developing POS system. I was wondering whether it is possible to create a worfklow on Appsheet so that I can print to a network server locally?

I am thinking of sending some request to a POS printer connected to raspberry pi server run nodejs. I do not want my appsheet to go to google cloud print but instead go to my local network. By doing this, I hope it can be faster.

The raspberry pi where the POS printer connected will have nodejs service that will print the data sent by my appsheet POS app.

What do you think?

Alternatively, can appsheet connected to rawbt bluetooth printer?

I don’t believe there’s a way for AppSheet to interact with a local printer. I think the best you could do is have AppSheet email the file to the printer with a public email address, or save the file to a file store (S3, Google Drive, DropBox, etc.) the printer can the pull from.
