Problems renaming a data source

When I try to rename a MySql data soure, I can click in the box and directly edit the name but the change doesn’t seem to stick.

If it is possibly to rename a datasource what are the steps??

You are right. There is not a capability to rename the source. it appears you would have to adda new datasource item with the new name, switch your apps to use the new datasource, make sure the apps build ok and then finally delete the old datasource.

I believe this will be relatively easy and not cause issues but I cannot guarantee that.
