Question about data marked as PII and impact on notifications

I just want to make sure that fields I have marked as PII will still be completely usable to me in app for sending notifications, etc.

I read: https://help.appsheet.com/en/articles/1128105-sensitive-personally-identifiable-information-pii-data... and searched the forums and didn’t find anything that seems to say otherwise, but I just wanted to make sure.
