Random Initial Value

@(_FILL)
This just appeared in an initial value formula for a column after I changed it to a ref. No idea what it means. Anyone know?

The _FILL function copies a column value from a previous row to the current row. We do this when the previous row had a value but the newly added row does not. I cannot provide much more detail than this. Praveen is the expert on the topic.

@praveen, is this supported functionality? Should I document it?

That soundโ€™s like a pretty useful function to use the previous row for new initial values. It was just very odd that I didnโ€™t type anything just regenerated a table when I changed a column name and it appeared.

Could you use this in a referred action to iterate up/down a table?

I only vaguely remembered that we had this function.
I cannot add any more regarding it.
