Related Images not showing in email

I have a Visit table with related images in the Photos table- the ref is Related Photos and the desired related columns are Photo and PhotoNotes. I am using a Word email template. I get an email using the Word template but no images, nor any error. There are certainly photos attached to the record. I’m at a loss at what to try next.
This is the relevant text within my Word email template. Other variables referencing columns in the Visit table work perfectly.

Should I be looking at this file? Sending Email After Adding a Parent Record and All of Its Children"?
