Running serial number report

In PDF report, has table of records. In that I need to have running serial number for each row. Pls help me, how to add that?

In generally the template can be something like this…

Though you need to take care that the row height is always the same. For that you can control with the min row height from the table’s properties. Not as flexible as it should be, but doable.

Kicking the same formula into virtual column on the same table will remove the concern of collapsed table on template.
