I have a number of records that I do not want to show other users but want the user to enter their unique code to show just their detail view record. This is a public app so no security filters.

I have tried the assistant but this does not bring up the right view.

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks Steve, unfortunately a slice will not filter unless given a static input. I need the user to be able to put in their code and then it displays the record
