Q. Is there any difference/reason why we have security filters available for each table under data->tables AND also available under the Security tab ? Seems redundant to have both.
It is more useful than it is annoying/confusing so I would just let it be.
Actually I believe it IS confusing having two different security filters for the same table. Just wondering if there is some rationale to having the security filters in two places. Seeking understanding, not change.
It’s not two security filters, it’s two places where you can see your security filters.
I am setting the security filters in the table section, where I set up the whole table and looking over all of them under the security tab.
It is useful indeed as @Bellave_Jayaram said.
