Sending email

I have a problem already known, but I can not solve it.
When sending an email with items from a daughter table, the items do not appear because the email is sent before the data is saved.
I thought to use an action instead of a workflow, but I see that the options are not so complete, it does not allow to create the mail from a google document or attach files.
What would be the correct solution to send an email with data from a dependent table?
