Have you looked at the sample apps that AppSheet has made available?

If you are facing a particular problem with your maintenance app, someone here can probably suggest a sample app (either one of the official AppSheet samples or one that an individual has published on a profile page) that you can refer to.

The sample apps are fairly basic starter apps without a lot of advanced UX features.
