Slice renaming itself

I had a slice called Jobs Today (North Wales) that I wanted to rename to Jobs Today (Antur). The weird thing is that when I type in Jobs Today (Antur) then close the slice it changes automatically to Jobs Today Antur. It strips off the brackets. Is this some next syntax rule?

I’ve never seen that before, though I’ve never tried putting special characters in a slice name.

Perhaps @Steve would know someone to ask?

Just weird it accepted them before. For the record its not accepting the old name either so presume a syntax restriction. But confirmation would be helpful

I believe I saw something internally that suggested bad characters would be flagged. I don’t recall seeing they’d be silently removed, though. I’d call that a bug, or at least app creator-unfriendly behavior.
