SNAPSHOT(LINKTOVIEW("XXXX")) template expression is working?

We are testing this <<SNAPSHOT(LINKTOVIEW(“XXXX”))>> expression with some apps, but the output PDF is not rendering any snapshot, but collapsed image links.

Just want to ask to community if this expression is working with your apps now???

Seems like not a lot of people try to use it, but no luck on my end. Found your post looking for answers here
