Stopwatch Laos data entry

I m new to appsheet . I m looking to create an AppSheet for my students in Physical Education . The goal will be for them to click on a button to start a stopwatch then click on another button at every laps they run or walk. At the end the google sheet will calculate and average per lap and shows the time per lap and total .
So what is the best way to start doing that ? Create the spreadsheet will all formula or by creating action ?

Check a sample app called “In Duty” from www.appsheet.com/portfolio/531778. It’s kind of doing what you are looking for so you need to adjust it. But it’s a good for the start.

I was surprised to see we didn’t explicitly have a stopwatch app, although I’ve seen the pattern many times now in other app categories.
