suddenly users are getting message that Table...

suddenly users are getting message that Table (sheet name) does not allow new entries. I could not find any settings that seemed to lock it to read-only. At row 1552 in google sheets. Anyone have suggestion? Thanks.

Add Some more rows in that Speadsheet. it will be fine.

Quinn, how many columns do you have in that table?

You need to multiply the columns X rows to get the number of cells to determine if you have reached any limits.

Google sheets 400,000 cells for the whole workbook (including all the tabs).

Are you using slice where the ADDS is not allowed?

(Aleksi Alkio) #5

Btw… the limit nowadays is 2.000.000 cells, not 400.000.

Thank you everyone! Really appreciate the quick feedback. Looks like one of the co-authors did something that changed the settings in the Table permissions in appsheet (from appsheet staff: “It would be in Data -> Tables. Open the table definition and see if Add is allowed”) such that if the signed in user wasn’t person A or person B then their permission would be READ_ONLY. As we have 12 users, no one else could save.

Good you could solve the issue.

Thanks for the update on the max limits on google sheet cells.
