Suggested values in a ref column type

Hi

Is it possible to have suggested values included in ref column type?
So the idea is to have suggested ref values from a short list of another table that already has 2 or 3 ref id’s, but then ability to add other values from the complete original table to which the column in question is referenced to, when the suggested values are not indicating the item you want?

Let me know if I need to describe use case or misunderstood how suggested values.

Are there any sample apps examples to see different scenarios of how suggested values are used in practice.
Can’t seem to find any.

Suggested values can be anything you want and can originate from anywhere. The only requirement is that the every item in the suggested values be compatible with the column in which the chosen value will be saved.
