Sync settings for remote areas

Hello, all. I have a timecard app for our field crews. For the next 2-3 months they’re working in remote areas with intermittent connectivity. Any suggestions on best “Offline/Sync” settings to ensure data gets saved/synced correctly?

Would “Delayed Sync” and “Automatic Updates” be best turned on or off?

If it’s an intermittent connectivity, you could use the app without “Delayed Sync” and “Automatic Updates”. When they save the record, they could manually send that record pressing the sync button.

So, say they hit the sync button and their connectivity is poor, does the app save the info locally until the next time they fire up the app and get better connectivity?
