Technically what is the purpose of ref views? ( as opposed to menu views) I know there are many purposes: 1) to not crowd the screen 2) maybe to be the template for inline views? 3) for future reference when a view is no more needed? 4) ?

Is there other more important purposes? Is number 2 the main purpose?

A REF view is simply a view that you want to customize that isn’t directly shown in the menu, or the bottom three buttons…

Example you have a table view, located center… What about the detail view for those tables items, that is a ref view, commonly system created.
